Using knowledge and understanding gained from "The Rabbits" and "The First Australians" respond to the following prompt on your blog:
How did the ethnocentricity of the British and the First Australians cause conflict between the two groups?
The main cause of the conflict between the two groups was because of their ethnocentricity. The two groups had different thoughts of each other. The First Australians thought that the Britishers were a weird kind of creature or an alien. The Britishers thought that the First australians were primitive and uncivilized. This gave place for curiosity for knowing each other and learn about them. This made the Britishers to try to change the First australians like the Britishers. But the used the wrong way because of which a war began and made a new governor to come. The new governor in search of more land met new people and again with curiosity tried to change them. The natives did not want to change because of which they were forced to follow them. This lead to more war,and eventually, there was a lot of destruction. This shows that curiosity had caused destruction to the land in Australia.
